Idag i ett visst Renoveringsbehov

Today in need of some restoration.

I bought my dreamcar in 4:th of October 1991 from a Swedish person in southern Sweden, that had the car for about 2 years.

The car was first registered in Sweden 26/5-78.

and was rebuilt by Mr Börje Molin who owned it for many years.

Here is the kilometrestand:

16/9-1987 = 8211,4

31/3-1989 = 9622,6

  5/4-1990  = 9864,4

  15/3-1991 = 9908,8

21/6-1993 = 0361,5

  3/11-1994 =0361,5

   6/8-1996 = 0446,7

   9/8-1996 = 454,6

   8/8-1997 =  0465,8

22/6-1999 = 0493,8

  6/7-2000 = 0512,1

   3/5-2001 =0541,7

  8/7-2003 = 0571,9

I have been driving the car almost only to the annual/biannual inspection close to home and some few times a year into town that is only 8 kilometers from home! So in 23 Years the car has been driven around 220 km!

I have never had any time to enjoy it due to work, work, work, so it was parked in a cold tent garage for many years.

Last time I started it was around 2008 but never droved it. BUT the car was in very nice state and the engine produced the superpower as it should!

NOW I haven´t started it up, but I have cranked it and all seems OK.Oil stand in the engine and breaks/clutch OK.Cooling Water stand OK.

BUT I don ´t want to start it up becaus I think that the gasoline and other hoses should be changed,

as well as a look at electrical connections and fuses.

There has been some humidity in and around the car so there could be som corrosion to clean.

The paint is 1/2 ok only.It is shiny and from distance it looks great, but a closer inspection shows some small bubbles under the paintcoat

here and there. The worst part is the cracked paint on top of the roof.(some stars). It is not a disaster but very annoying!

The brakes have to be overhauled, because the brake discs have some rust on them.

The tyres are in very good condition.I bought them several years ago but  almost never ran the car since. As You can see, the car is parked on wood supports to keep the tyres in air, so they don ´t get oval.

I hope that someone will be happy to own this beautiful machine, and with some love and some money and time, this will be a true pearl again.
